A designer from Malmö/Sweden and now based in Söderhamn/Sweden. I mainly work in wood, but I am always interested in trying new materials andcraft techniques. I am interested in how we value materials and craftsmanship. I want to explore unexpected material merges and combine it with different craft techniques. The shape of the object is inspired by Nikola Tesla and his invention, Tesla coil. The lid is made out of reused skateboards and a brass detail I found on a flea market, the bottom is made out of pinewood.
スウェーデンのマルメから拠点をソーデルハムンに移して活躍するデザイナーの作品。木材を用いた作品が多いが、新しい素材とクラフト技術への興味を常に持ち続けて、素材とクラフトマンシップの融合に挑戦を続けている。作品のインスピレーションは、発明家のニコラ・ステラのテスラコイルから得た。素材には、使い古したスケートボードと蚤の市でみつけた真鍮、松の木を用いている。
